Artist Statement

In all art, I enjoy a diversity of themes, mediums and techniques. I move from realism to abstract in interest.
My realistic paintings are from studies of the objects and scenes around me.  Some are memory pieces using refence material. My Conceptual and Abstract paintings are based on themes and concepts such as boundaries, truths and dualities.  For me, art as meditative and contemplative. I want the viewer to be stimulated and enjoy my work for what they evoke.

My work Today

My work has turned back on itself. All the experiences I have had to date are now becoming one. My love of illustration, paint or sculpture are joining together. As a woman, my images are now more than ever focused on that knowledge.
